Hyundai Elantra Hatchback How Do I Install Trailer Wiring On My Hyundai Elantra 2006 (4-dr Hatchback)?

How do I install trailer wiring on my Hyundai Elantra 2006 (4-dr hatchback)? - hyundai elantra hatchback

I bought a "universal" trailer light kit (two magnetic lights and wiring), but almost never come with instructions. The Elantra has a separate brake light and direction. On both sides of the black back in the plastic box is a small grill, when removed, shows a black cable for connecting the array of light. The white plastic cap is 4-range of terminals (terminals are wrong for you ") Slam Dunk - an outlet for supporters. In the cable into the left side there are four son: W Black, white, yellow, and yellow, a red line . In the cable on the right side, there are four son: black, white, brown, blue.

Suggestions depending on where should I go?

The harness has plugs that you need so you can plug sockets located behind the tail and close the in-between to separate the trailer light connector. Begin did not cut you, son, or splicing into the system .. Bad idea. U-Haul locations have what you need, including the installation if you want to ..
good luck ..

One pulls a trailer with an Elantra? Good luck with that.

As the front-drive Elantra is .. Are you sure that you pull a trailer? If you are not prepared to replace the front joints and pulling a trailer injury / damage to them. If he does not pull on a trailer, why do you need the light kit?
