You can deduct tax on a new car, what about a used one that was purchased? - deduct tax on used motorcycle

Can I deduct sales tax on the purchase of a used vehicle, like a boat or motorcycle?

If you are listed, you can claim that state and local taxes, or VAT. The sales tax will be deducted a table that hangs on the situation, income and family size to an amount you can not keep all your revenue is sales tax. You can tax, paid add a vehicle (or new), ship or airplane used table. Not a motorcycle. If you saved all your receipts and said that you could include the sales tax charged on a motorcycle.

Yes you can! If you read the instructions on the form, the IRS makes no difference in age or condition of the goods, "new" and "uses" are not mentioned.

But you can not deduct sales tax if the file with deductions (Schedule A) and choose to deduct state and local sales tax paid instead of paying the state and local taxes. Visit the following links, IRS for details. Good luck! :-)
